1. Let Go Let God (Lilac)
A reminder that it’s through our surrender and releasing our control to God that He can truly do the work He has intended for our lives. The Author and the Finisher of our faith is still in control and writing our story.
1 Peter 5:7 tells us to “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
Pray and ask God to identify the things you need to relinquish control of - is it your relationship, marriage, finances, fears or doubts about the future? We hope that the Word will offer you soulful refreshment and a peaceful assurance as you meditate on them, write them down and ask God to take the wheel.
2. Grace Still Overflows (Sunflower)
In challenging times, our minds can be consumed by the tough things going on and fixate on WHY God would let them happen. It’s human, and it’s ok.
He knows our weakness, our grief, our sorrows. He doesn’t expect us to cling to an ignorant optimism. Rather, as we grow in the knowledge of God, He offers us overflowing grace. We learn to trust that God can make the hardest things into meaningful things. He can turn our pain into purpose. He can turn our trials into testimonies.
There is grace for each day, even among the bad ones. As you spend time in the Word, on the go, or throughout the day jotting things down - remember 1 Timothy 1:14 which reminds us: “and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.”
3. Word before World (Peach)
Resolving to prioritise the Word before we start each day. May this phrase “Word before world” serve as an encouragement and reminder that as we reshape our priorities to meet with Jesus before we start each day - we will experience transformation in the way we think, work, give, sacrifice, live and cultivate a habit of abiding in Him.
Psalm 63:1 “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;”
May Christ be in all, through all, and above all you do as you put Him first, in His rightful place.
